Arrival

Hey everybody,
I figured the best way to let everyone know how I'm doing is through a blog, so here goes. After 25 hours of travel and layovers (including a Nyquil-assisted nap on my flight across the Atlantic), I finally made it to Cork City, on the southern tip of Ireland. My apartment's great, its really new and about a 20 mintue walk from campus. Despite having several hours of orientation both days, I was able to wander around the city a lot and get to know Cork pretty well, and at this point I can probably make it to and from city center without getting lost. The city's really nice, not too Americanized (besides an occasional Subway or Burger King), and reasonably small. I'll try to get some photos up later this week.
